Stephonie Leonard is currently an Assistant Management Analyst II for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. She will receive her MS in Electrical Engineering from the College of Staten Island, CUNY and she is also an alumni of The City College of New York, where she received a BS in Electrical Engineering. In addition to receiving her degree, Stephonie was selected as an Off-Shore Wind Scholar with the Lending Light Wind company. Stephonie was also a very active member of the College of Staten Island campus community where she founded the College of Staten Island’s first National Society of Black Engineers chapter, serving as the president while mentoring undergraduate students. While furthering her professional career in STEM, she gladly serves as the secretary for the NSBE NYC Professionals Chapter.
