The NSBE-NYC Professionals Chapter wishes to honor the spirit of former executive board member, Oluseyi Adekanmbi, June 9, 1985 – March 12, 2026. Seyi, as most knew her, served on the NYC chapter executive board from 2011 through 2015 holding positions such as Social Chair, Programs Chair and Vice President. She earned her degrees in Civil & Environmental Engineering from University of Pittsburgh, and an Organizational Change Management (OCM) from NYU School of Professional Studies. Seyi’s remarkable career included senior roles in engineering from Michael Baker International, Jacobs, TIAA and most recently Mars. Seyi attained the coveted Professional Engineer (PE) distinction in the state of New Jersey. We extend our most heart-felt condolences to her family, friends and network. Seyi lived the mission of NSBE and may we always remember her impact!
