Part-Time (24 hours / week), New York, NY – Hybrid – $65,000 annually

Transform lives and bridge the digital divide with Technology for Families In Need
(TechFIN), a Brooklyn-based nonprofit that provides refurbished computers to low-
income families. We seek a visionary Executive Director, gifted at storytelling and
narratives, to lead fundraising and partnerships, drive annual funding, and expand our
network of corporate and nonprofit partners.

About TechFIN
At TechFIN, we believe in the power of technology to change lives. Our innovative
approach involves sourcing used Windows-based laptops and desktops from
corporations, revitalizing them, and distributing them to low-income families through
partnerships with community-based nonprofits. To date nearly 4,000 families have been
helped through our efforts.

The Opportunity
As Executive Director, you will be responsible for advancing TechFIN’s mission through
two primary focus areas:
1. Strategic Partnerships; Outreach – Expand and manage relationships with
corporate hardware donors, nonprofit partners, and grantmaking organizations.
2. Fundraising & Resource Development – Drive revenue growth, raising $200,000+
annually through diverse funding streams.
This role reports to the Board of Directors and is ideal for a dynamic leader passionate
about technology access, sustainability, and social equity.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnerships, Outreach
● Cultivate and expand TechFIN’s network of corporate hardware donors, securing
recurring commitments
● Develop and maintain strong relationships with nonprofit distribution partners
● Represent TechFIN at partner events, conferences, and media engagements
● Explore government and institutional partnerships to enhance program impact

Fundraising & Resource Development
● Develop and execute a fundraising strategy to secure $200,000+ annually through grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual donations
● Identify and engage new funding sources
● Lead initiatives and fundraising campaigns such as Giving Tuesday
● Leverage data insights to refine donor engagement strategies and measure
fundraising success

Minimum Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field
● Proven track record in fundraising and donor relations
● Strong financial management and budgeting skills
● Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
● Experience in strategic planning and program development
● Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities

Preferred Qualifications
● 5+ years of executive leadership experience in the nonprofit sector
● Successful track record of raising $200,000+ annually through diverse funding channels
● Experience with technology solutions (e.g. Salesforce) for nonprofit growth and efficiency
● Strong public speaking and media relations skills
● Proven ability in board development and governance
● Experience in developing and managing corporate partnerships
● Demonstrated success in grant writing and management
● Proficiency in data analysis and impact measurement
● Knowledge of environmental sustainability and e-waste reduction initiatives
