General Body Meeting (GBM) on 3.5.26

Our 1st GBM of the year will focus on tax literacy, strategies and savings for engineers & technical professionals. Our speaker, Troy Robinson, CPA will focus on unlocking new pathways for professional growth, financial stability and generational prosperity within our community. We guarantee you’ll learn something that you can immediately put into practice, increasing your ability to saving $$$ on taxes and build wealth.

Troy Robinson is a partner with RRAW CPA LLP. He is responsible for managing the firm’s tax practice. Troy provides tax advisory and compliance services to the firm’s clients and their owners. Troy is a Certified Public Accountant with over 20 years of accounting, tax compliance, and consulting experience, which includes BDO LLP, Mitchell & Titus LLP, Altice and Prudential. Troy serves as an advisor to clients across several different industries. During his career, Troy has split his tenure between the public accounting and private sector. He has extensive experience in servicing non-for profits, corporations, partnerships and individuals in the areas of accounting, tax planning and compliance. His expertise spans across federal, state and local taxation. Troy holds his license as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York. He received a Masters in Taxation from Long Island University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brooklyn College, (C.U.N.Y). He is a member of the National Association of Black Accountants, New York Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

After our presentation, we’ll cover chapter business, events and announcements. Once wrapped, we’ll head 2 blocks away to the lower level of the Park Avenue Tavern to grab some bites/drinks and socialize. Light refreshments will be available during the meeting.
