Black History Month Celebration & Networking Happy Hour
Join Cisco, Presidio & NSBE NYC as we celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Black History Month! This year marks the 100th Anniversary of Black History Month celebration in the US! We’ll explore how education shapes the pipeline of leaders in the tech industry, with a special focus on how New York City Public Schools, one of the most diverse school systems in the nation, is recruiting and preparing diverse talent for leadership roles.
Our guest speaker is Dr. Patrick Fagan, Chief Talent Human Resources Officer, New York City Public Schools. Dr. Fagan brings extensive experience in strategic human capital management and leads innovative initiatives to diversify and strengthen the educational workforce, including integrating AI into recruitment and retention systems. His leadership is defined by empathy, equity, innovation, and employee well-being.
